Major US premium-frozen seafood importer Mazzetta and Amanda Foods will collaborate with Vietnamese animal feed manufacturer Viet France Animal Feed Production Joint Stock Company (Proconco) to increase pangasius (tra and basa) exports to the US.

For the first 4 months of the year, Vinh Hoan stock company has become the leader of Pangasius exporters with the revenue of 36.4 million USD.

2008 saw export turnover of Vietnamese products to America at USD 12 billion, about 20% total export turnover. Vietnam with strength in textile, furniture, and seafood, etc. becomes one of leading countries exporting to America

On May 19, Tongwei Co, Ltd, Vietnam has inaugurated a factory of processing feed for seafood in Tan Huong industrial zone (Tien Giang province).
